Op 11 juni nodigen Arenberg en Wave Together jongeren, makers en cultuurliefhebbers uit voor een inspirerende avond rond theater. Onder begeleiding van moderator Joffrey Anane gaan drie jonge makers (Michiko Lii, Shakira Azila & Leena Abu Taleb) in gesprek met drie toonaangevende stemmen uit het werkveld over hun parcours, uitdagingen en visie op de toekomst van de podiumkunsten.

Sachli Gholamalizad is een Belgisch-Iraanse theatermaker, actrice en documentairemaker. Met haar internationaal bekroonde theaterwerk onderzoekt ze hoe migratie en geschiedenis hun sporen nalaten in families, relaties en volgende generaties. Momenteel ontwikkelt ze haar eerste lange documentaire, Not My Paradise. Daarnaast schrijft ze columns voor ELLE België.

Gerardo Salinas is kunstenaar, dramaturg en stadsdramaturg bij KVS. Vanuit zijn expertise in kunst, migratie en stedelijke ontwikkeling bouwt hij bruggen tussen kunstenaars, gemeenschappen en culturele instellingen.

Nyira Hens is theatermaker, actrice en community builder. In haar artistieke en maatschappelijke werk zet ze in op verbinding, identiteit en het versterken van diverse stemmen.

Samen verkennen zij hoe jonge makers, professionals en creatieve communities elkaar kunnen inspireren en versterken binnen een sector die voortdurend evolueert.

On 11 June, Arenberg and Wave Together invite young people, makers and culture enthusiasts for an inspiring evening about theatre. Guided by moderator Joffrey Anane, three young makers (Michiko Lii, Shakira Azila & Leena Abu Taleb) will engage in conversation with three leading voices from the field about their journeys, challenges and visions for the future of the performing arts.

Sachli Gholamalizad is a Belgian-Iranian theatre maker, actress and documentary filmmaker. Through her internationally acclaimed theatre work, she explores how migration and history leave traces in families, relationships and future generations. She is currently developing her first feature-length documentary, Not My Paradise. She also writes columns for ELLE Belgium.

Gerardo Salinas is an artist, dramaturg and city dramaturg at KVS. With expertise in art, migration and urban development, he builds bridges between artists, communities and cultural institutions.

Nyira Hens is a theatre maker, actress and community builder. In both her artistic and social work, she focuses on connection, identity and amplifying diverse voices.

Together, they explore how young makers, professionals and creative communities can inspire and strengthen one another within a sector that is constantly evolving.
