TECH & CARE CLUB door Queer Match & Sophia vzw: waar zorg, community en technologische empowerment samenkomen. Binnen de warme, open sfeer van Care Club verkent Match hoe technologie, AI en digitale tools een plek kunnen krijgen in queer gemeenschappen. We vertrekken vanuit zorg: zichtbaar, gedeeld, soms complex, maar altijd collectief. TECH & CARE CLUB maakt ruimte om samen te leren, te twijfelen, te experimenteren en elkaar te versterken. Zonder consumptiedruk, mét aandacht voor toegankelijkheid, representatie en de meest kwetsbare stemmen in onze community.

Tijdens elke editie vind je plekken om te landen, te leren en te verbinden: de Bistro biedt geheel gratis eten en ontmoeting, de Open School voor gedeelde kennis, de Health Hub voor toegankelijke zorginfo en extra ruimtes afhankelijk van de editie. Alles wordt gedragen door vrijwilligers, partners en een brede community die zorg als een politieke én liefdevolle praktijk ziet.

13:00-14:30 | ONLINE HATE: HOW TO REACT & PROTECT YOURSELF & COMMUNITY

Praktische handvatten om online haat te herkennen, te kaderen en jezelf en je community te beschermen. Een workshop gegeven door Igor Živković (Kif Kif)

Een veilige, besloten sessie met concrete digitale veiligheidsstrategieën voor sekswerkers voorzien door Cobalt FTM.

14:00-16:00 | COLLECTIVE READING SESSION — A CYBORG MANIFESTO

Samen lezen, denken en praten over Donna Haraway’s invloedrijke tekst over technologie, identiteit en macht. Deze reading session werd georganiseerd in samenwerking met Sophia en Muntpunt, die sinds 2025 samen een reeks feministische leessessies in Muntpunt organiseren. Moderatie door Paola Verhaert.

TECH & CARE CLUB by Queer Match & Sophia vzw

A place where care, community, and technological empowerment come together. Within the warm and open atmosphere of Care Club, Match explores how technology, AI, and digital tools can find a place within queer communities.

We start from a place of care: visible, shared, sometimes complex, but always collective. TECH & CARE CLUB creates space to learn together, question together, experiment together, and strengthen one another. Free from consumer pressure, with attention to accessibility, representation, and the most vulnerable voices in our community.

During each edition, you will find spaces to arrive, learn, and connect: the Bistro offers completely free food and opportunities to meet others, the Open School provides shared knowledge, the Health Hub offers accessible healthcare information, and additional spaces vary depending on the edition. Everything is made possible by volunteers, partners, and a broad community that sees care as both a political and a loving practice.
