In Yet, Light, you are Blind, Luce Fiagan draws on the work of Denise Ferreira da Silva and Fred Moten, alongside Cheikh Ath's reflection that "all the things unimaginable in the light may be possible in the dark", to explore the archetype of the shadow. The performance examines how shadows shape who we are, both as individuals and as a collective, and how they might create space for renewal. It invites us to see identity not as fixed or coherent, but as dynamic, fractured, and constantly becoming, particularly in relation to Black identity.

Alone on stage, yet supported by a multidisciplinary team, Luce conjures and conceals shadows, shifting between clown, creature, ghost, and child. Through slam, stand-up, and rap, they create a restless flow of forms and voices. A body and its shadows continuously collapse, reassemble, and resist settling into any final shape.

Luce Fiagan, is a multidisciplinary poet who lives between Belgium and the (collective) unconscious. They bring together texts, music and dance in all kinds of hybrid and daring configurations, like the surrealists and underground beat bop artists who preceded and inspired them. They create multimedia performances with Oscar Cassamajor and Castélie Yalombo under the name WDKY, and experimental hip-hop with Vinco Zine under the name The Eskaton 115. They are also part of the Home JAN foundation for art, permaculture and care. Luce was a Beursschouwburg associated artist from 2022 to 2024.
