MUGUET

English version
Lily of the valley is a symbol of friendship and compassion.
It is also associated with the almost forgotten tradition of May 1st, when people offer one another a small sprig of flowers to bring good luck.
But in French, lily of the valley is called Muguet. And Muguet is also the story of four drag queens who gather at the legendary Cherry Club for the funeral of their show's leading star. As whispers circulate about the deceased and her rather unimpressive coffin, a painful realization emerges: they are not immortal either. And yet, they still have a show to finish.
Who will take over the starring role of Muguet? How can anyone imagine a happy ending when an inevitable ending awaits us all? Can four heavily made-up egos put aside their differences in pursuit of a common goal?
Through this absurd, moving, and cheeky story, Edna Sorgelsen, Susan from Grindr, Peach, and Krasna set out, with plenty of self-deprecating humor, to reflect on the meaning of life at a time when LGBTQIA+ people are facing growing hostility.
And of course, you can expect lip-sync performances, fabulous costumes, and razor-sharp tongues!
