Sinds 2020 brengt de Faculteit Sociale Wetenschappen van de UA vier keer per jaar een gratis Lunch Talk, in samenwerking met 'Nuff Said. Tijdens de Lunch Talks staat een artiest uit de comedy-, literaire of muziekscene centraal. Met een focus op het persoonlijke en professionele verhaal van de gast, en hoe dat verhaal zich verhoudt tegen de achtergrond van actuele sociale thema's en events zoals migratie, polarisatie en (internationale) conflicten. Gegarandeerd inspirerend!

Nabil Abdulrashid (VK)

Voor de Mad Goat-Lunch Talk zakt de Britse comedian Nabil Abdulrashid naar Antwerpen af. Zijn unieke comedy leverde hem al een rist awards en lovende kritieken op. Hij speelde al in alle top comedyshows in het VK, zoals Live at the Apollo, QI, Have I Got News For You, The Last Leg, Would I Lie To You?, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown en véél meer. Nabil heeft een indrukwekkend parcours afgelegd sinds hij voor 't eerst kwam piepen als finalist in Britain's Got Talent 2020.

From 2020, FSW Connects (Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Antwerp) will bring a free Lunch Talk four times a year in collaboration with 'Nuff Said. During these Lunch Talks, an artist from the world of comedy, literature or music is central. The focus is on the personal and professional story of the guest, and how it takes place against a background of important social themes and events such as migration, polarization and (international) conflicts. Come along and be inspired by our unconventional guest speakers. 

Nabil Abdulrashid (UK)

Nabil Abdulrashid is an award winning and acclaimed stand-up, who has brought his unique brand of comedy across the world. Nabil has featured on all the top UK comedy shows, including multiple appearances on: Live at the Apollo, QI, Have I Got News For You, The Last Leg and Would I Lie To You? plus 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Silence is Golden, Battle in the Box and many more. Nabil has come a long way since being a finalist and Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent in 2020, receiving the most complaints of any contestant!
